hi joe,
i want to know if i get it correctly.
you support the idea of high intensity, not a lot of volume, the minimum possible of frequency and number of sets from one side,
and also support chris breadsly’s idea of “effective reps”.
i mean, one person can do 1 set to failure ( 5 effective reps) and other can do 5 sets, 1 rep short of failure (5 effective reps total) and the hypertrophy, theoretically, will be the same.so, if the execution and effort are on the place and i can recover from it, why not doing as much volume, as much sets as possible?
that way i can get more effective reps.*talking about beginner/intermediate trainee.
thanks!
