I don’t think so. I started lifting at 15 (now 18) and I went from 5’7ish to 5’10. I didnt expect to grow taller anyway because parents are 5’10 and 5’4. If a doctor tells you something of course listen but if its just random internet fearmongering I wouldn’t worry about it. However I will say you shouldnt worry about crazy heavy weight and perfect your form, control and tempo while youre still young to prevent injury as much as possible
