ParticipantIm starting 10 week challenge because I need to drop some bodyfat. This will be my first serious cut and I think this challenge will motivate me further.
Im not going to track calories so all the tips are welcome. Tracking calories takes time, is annoying and I personally dont think its worth it.
I will add below my startingpoint. I have never even posted pics of my body anywhere lol.. Will also update after the 10 weeks! Wish me luck.

ParticipantWhat strategies are you going to use? “Cleaning up my diet” is a bit ambiguous and could really mean almost anything. Besides, if you overeat on “clean” foods, you’ll still be gaining weight as it is down to calories. So your options are pretty limited as far as controlling for food intake. Interested to hear what strategies you are planning to use

ParticipantNo such thing as “clean” foods from my research. I wish you the best in success but it sounds like you have the right tools at your disposal but saying you know better and refuse to use them.

Im not saying I know better, I just personally hate tracking. I know it would be way easier to track. By cleaning up my diet I mean Im cutting unhealthy high calorie low density junk foods. Choosing low calorie options instead of high calorie ones. Choosing foods that are more satiating with less calories. Favoring whole foods instead of processed. I would say processed food isnt as clean as whole foods.

Choosing foods that are more satiating with less calories. Im not trying to get shredded, just lose good amount of fat. Yes you can overeat with “clean” foods but its not going to be as easy. Also not using so much highly processed foods, favoring whole foods instead.

I guess, my concern would also be adequate protein consumption. Most people who do not track/never tracked tend to underconsume protein which negatively impacts on your body composition as you diet. But you should absolutely do what works for you, it’s just that you need to be aware of the pitfalls.

Yeah absolutely. I actually always track my protein roughly in my head. Its way easier than tracking carbs or fats. I always want to be at least in the 1.6g per kg range.

Hey, I have dropped around 2 kilos or so. I definetely see atleast sligth difference around my waist. I think one of the biggest things I have changed so far is eating more solid protein sources and less protein shakes as they dont fill you up almost at all. I dont think Im making huge progress in these 10 weeks but definetely some.
