I am trying to figure out the most efficient way to spend my time at the gym given my “8-5” job and having a 1.5 year daughter schedule. I don’t lift on the weekends since I want to spend time with my family.
I am thinking of either doing a PPL or a full body 2x/week split and curious what you would suggest. At this point of my life I am mainly training for general health, strength, and some aesthetics.
On “off” days, I am planning to do both LISS and HITT cardio. If going with the 2x week program, where would you put the cardio days?
Also, on the 2x week program, would you alter exercises between days? For example BB squats one day and hack another or RDL one day and seated leg curls another?
