I have been training and dieting to grow. Usually I have been doing around 9 exercises per muscle but with big sets. Normally 3 exercises per big set going 3 rounds. I try to go heavy on the first exercise, targeting no more than 6 reps and doing 12 to 15 reps for the other two exercises (using rest pause or drop sets sometimes).
I have been told that I should include on my routine some other ways of training, for example, on chest day I could do a high number of bench press sets targeting the first few round on around 10 to 12 reps and the last few round going from 4 to even 1 rep.
What are your thoughts on that?
