Hey Joe! You always talk about this “slot” for the upperarm when pressing. If I remember correctly that slot is somewhere between 80-60 degrees but basically whereever the shoulders feel most comfortable.

Now I saw your post about that dumbbell+cable press on TikTok where somebody asked if it shouldn’t be more like 45-30 degrees. And I know where he’s comming from because there a lots of (maybe clueless?) people online that claim that this angle is better for pressing because the pecs have better/more leverage.

Your answer was: “but I would never tuck them that much, cause I like having big pecs”

Could you maybe elaborate a bit more on that? Would be awesome to learn 🙂

    Cheers!

I think I’ll need to listen to this voice like a hundred times more to fully understand everything but I think I got the message. Your knowledge is just insane and I love that you actually put in real effort into answering these questions.

Looking so much forward to HCU, I will pay literally anything (probably a dumb thing to say upfront because I probably just doubled the price tag but that’s fine)
