Hey guys, I’m just wondering at what point do you think alcohol would really slow protein synthesis for a workout earlier that day? Like if you only have 1-2 beers, do you think that would really affect it at all? Thanks!
I haven’t noticed any issues when I have a few drinks in the evening if my workout was in the morning or early afternoon. Make sure you get your post workout meals in and consider any alcohol into your daily calorie intake. And don’t overdue it. I won’t have more than 2 drinks on a workout day and if I know I am going to have more, I’ll make sure it’s on an off day.
