I remember a while back in a video Joe talking about how he did PPL for a long time and then decided he was starting to look like a refrigerator – boxy/rectangular. I think that’s sort of what I look like now. My goal is to be like classic physique or even men’s physique – very tapered waist. I’ve always been leg & back dominant, and my weak areas are typically shoulders, chest, arms.
I’m 5’10” and 193# at 14% bf now. I don’t have a ton of muscle mass, so I am trying to grow some size, particularly on my upper body, but wondering if I need to taper down my bodyfat to avoid looking blocky/bulky.
Also, I’m doing the Terrence 2021 prep, which I think has some arms focus…wondering if that’s what you would recommend to anti-refrigerator shape me or if you think there’s a better split/prioritization.
