    Hey coach
I’ve noticed that on some exercises when I do the back off set and decrease the weight by ~15% I fall in the same rep range as my top set
Would you suggest that I should go even lighter so I fall in a different rep range or should I just stick to having the same rep range for both sets?

Does the program say you should be in the same rep range for both sets?

Yes okay but in all his programs there’s a different rep range in the top set and back off set

My rest times are always around 2/3 minutes but i think i should also feel ready for my next set, not just timing the rest. I also think its because the accumulation of lactic acid that it makes the weight feel heavy when its actually lighter
