    Starting in the third phase their are a lot of variations on sets that become apparent. My two questions would be:

    First, the reps say “6-12*” but each box has what looks to be recommended rep ranges for the set “6-8” + “10-12” and “10-12*” is that what I should be going for with each corresponding set?

    Secondly when I see “10-12*”, what does that asterisk mean on the “12*”? Is that just an AMRAP set if possible?

    Also, to my first question if that is the case and I should be going for those 6-8 and 10-12 rep ranges for those particular sets, I’m guessing those sets are both to failure, as well as I should be dropping weight from set 1 to set 2 because of the increased rep range, right?
