I’m doing Laszlo program ….. and in the first week , I slightly pulled my right bicep – doing the incline cable curls. Wasn’t really bad but I did feel a “pull”. I just went a bit too heavy in the first week .
I ve continued for 2 weeks adjusting some weights, all biceps and wide grip pull ups are fairly painful (recently went for pull downs with a semi pronated prime bar instead the wide overhand pull ups )
I’m not sure which is the best option …
1. Continue with the program , adjusting biceps and pull ups/downs etc )I’m aware the Laszlo program is pretty high volume as I’m doing the AM and PM sessions as 1 session)
2. Switch to a lower volume style program
3. Go to the the recovery program for a few weeks
4. Take a few weeks off upper weights etc
Thanks Bryce – makes a lot of sense. Do you see any issues keeping Tricep work in?
It’s just the middle of the bicep that is painful on direct bicep work and pull downs , triceps and chest etc feel great 👌🏻
