    Hey hey,

I just wonder why in many Pull Workouts there are RDL’s followed by a Bent Over Row variation.
Isn’t that pretty much stress for the lower back? I have never trained that way (and of course I’ll try it) but I could imagine that after some heavy sets of deadlifts the lower back could be the limiting factor for the rows instead of the upper back muscles.
Just interested in the thought process, thank you.

The comparison to 3 or 9 sets of curls isn’t that accurate in my opinion but I get the point πŸ˜‰

Okay in my head was: If you train 3 or 9 sets of curls you always hit the biceps, so always the same muscle.

But if you want to target the upper back with a Bent over row and the lower back muscle become the limiting factor in this excercise because you already trained a hip hinge motion. That sounded like something different. But either way, thank you for the answer, I got it ✌🏻
