    Hey,

I like to train at two gyms where I do smaller body parts (arms, shoulders) at my apartment gym and the bigger workouts (Push, Pull, Legs) at my main gym.

In my apartment gym the equipment is a bit more limited as the dumbbells only go up to 45lb which is way too light for shoulder presses. The gym does however have a cable station and this ‘barbell’ attachment which clips to each side of the cable station.

I was thinking of doing shoulder presses on the cable stack using either the barbell attachment or even just one arm with D-Handles. Do you see any downsides in doing shoulder presses on a cable like this? I’m wondering if I would be leaving any potential delt gains on the table by using cables for my presses or if it’s worth training then at the main gym and using a dumbbell or barbell variant instead
