Calculating training volume

    When calculating weekly training volume what is the general timeframe? When we’re talking weekly sets is it in a 7day period as in if you are doing 7 sets of chest on a Monday as part of a push session and you don’t have another push session until the next Monday would that be calculated as 14 or 7 sets for the week.

    Sorry if this question is worded poorly I’m just reading Brad Schoenfelds book and looking to clarify.
