Have difficulty getting a full contraction on straight leg calf raises, the muscle wants to cramp on me hard.
When doing a full contraction on a bent knee seated calf raise I have no issue.
Thoughts? Thank you!
Thanks Bryce. Definetly believe it is a lack of strength in that range. I know it’s definitely not a hydration or electrolyte issue.
Perhaps I just need to start my sets with a lighter weight that I can take to that fully shortened position, then use more weight to make sure the mid and lengthened ranges get attention as well.
