57 year old male training 40 years(oh some of the wrong paths I have taken)Presently using the ppl program and working calves 3 times a week.On push and pull days they are worked first in the session and leg day they are last.I do not have access to the cybex calf machine you favor so the majority of my calf training is done on a seated hammer strength leg press.l have access to a regular leg press that I prefer however In a busy gym l kind of feel like a dick using it when others are working legs.My calf training session is the following 2 warmup set 155 175 / 12 reps. 3 working sets 195 215 235 /12 .The last set sometimes is 10 rep followed by 2 drop sets. All sets are done in full range with a slight pause at the bottom and top of the movement.Once a week I add 4 sets of seated calf raises in the 10 to 15 rep range after the main movement above(seated hammer strength leg press)On leg day I typically do the walk of shame on the standing calf raise machine and with the bands(trying to elicit a pump)This is done after leg work and sled work.A little side note here about 10 years ago when I was using my prowler 2 to 3 times a week for conditioning purposes my calves seemed improve without any direct stimulus.Any help to add muscle tissue or improve my calf workouts would be greatly appreciated.Thank you Joe and Bryce,
