I’ve been doing the cannon delts split now for a few weeks, but would like to replace a couple of exercises and looking for suggestions please.
1. The chest supported tbar row – I like this exercise, but I’m noticing my ribs are sore. To the point that it bothers me when I take a deep breath. Perhaps I’m doing this wrong, but when I pull my chest back a little and find a sitting point on the pad, as soon as I add the weight on the tbar and let it stretch, I feel a lot of pressure on my ribs. Any recommendation on which to switch with?
2. RDL – I have very tight hamstrings, I work sitting down in front of the computer a lot. I try to stretch, but with my hamstrings being so tight, this exercise is difficult for me to progress/load more weights. Any recommendations on substitutes?
Thanks so much. I’m new here and started with the delts split. I love it. Shoulders are my favorite body part to work out and I’m enjoying my workouts. Seeing some difference already!
