Cardio

    Hey! I split my sessions evenly between lifting and bjj. When bjj was closed for lock down but the gym wasn’t, I finished my gym sessions with the prowler, assault bike, ski erg, ball slams or something like that. Usually short and fast.

    Now that I’m back at bjj and getting lots of cardio through that and eating the correct calories to cut, is there any need to add that type of stuff back onto the end of my lifting sessions.

    I liked doing it but wouldn’t want to do it if it pushed me into “doing too much”

    Would it be doing any more than burning a few calories?

    I am 48 and doing 5 full bodies and 5 bjj a fortnight. I’m in a deficit.
