Hi. Part of my daily routine is to set my alarm for 5.30am then have a black coffee and go to the gym for 6am to do my cardio or go for a walk in my local area. This generally has me feeling great and sets me up for the day. When I am on the late shift at work I don’t finish until 22.30 so be the time I get home and settled then set my alarm I potentially onlyanage 5.5 hours sleep. On these days would you just suck it up and go to do cardio regardless or skip that and set the alarm for 7am which will give me more sleep. I may not have time later in the day to do cardio as I would be doing my weights programme. I am a father of 2 who works full time and my wife also works so we have to juggle child care and plan when I can make the gym etc

Thank you very much for this. It is a great response. Yeah, cardio is quite up there in importance to me as I have solid fat loss goals to meet. I love the idea of making up the time and expenditure on the mornings I can do cardio at the gym. This is something I can definitely do to balance it all out over the week. Thank you
