Hey Joe! Thanks so much for all that you do. Your genuine passion to help really shines through. Recently, you asked on instagram for interesting questions. You seem like someone who has perspective to offer beyond just lifting so I would love your input about making a huge career change, even if it is not exactly your exact field.
I am in training for a niche, growing field in medicine; however, I am considering trying to change to get into surgery. Some of my priorities in life have changed and making sure I am really satisfied with my career is probably one of the most important factors to me. It would be extremely challenging, and the risk would involve giving up an extremely lucrative career and potentially not having a job if things don’t work out (which would be problematic with my insane amounts of med school debt). It would also take about 10 years before I am doing what I would like and making sufficient income to pay off my loans. I am currently 31. Any perspective in making this decision would be greatly appreciated.
Absolutely love the update. Seriously, you are crushing the game. Better than other dedicated nutrition apps out there and that’s not even the primary purpose of this app. Only suggestions I have are minor things. It would be nice to be able to change individual meal macros and change the macros between days (i.e to allow carb cycling, different rest day macros, etc). Also, I believe you only count the main macros in your foods (i.e not counting the protein from rice, the carbs in chicken, etc). I prefer that approach and think employing that in the app would be great.
