Have you seen coach kassems illustration of chest pressing? What he is showing on instagram is that abducted arm position doesnt ideally leverage the pecs in bench pressing motions. Thoughts on that? I personally feel way more chest activation with highly abducted arm position and feel only front delts when more adducted. Also what are your thoughts on protracting shoulders at the top (not excessively just a little bit) it is supposedly better for shoulder health and more chest activation.

But then again my chest is bad and weak so I wouldnt trust my feelings either.. I have started regressing in weight too despite doing pretty low volume and even taking time off

Thank you Bryce, great points as always. I have major pressing weakness compared to my other muscles groups. All I need to do is find exercises that I can easily progress on and have no pain but thats very hard task to do. even after 5 years of lifting. I recently started doing all my chest exercises more abducted but now I feel Im getting even weaker for some reason all the other variables being equal. Im going to have to rethink about my training again.

Thanks Joe, im going to keep looking for that slot you are talking about and finding the best position for me. I actually rarely feel my chest working much so something is definetely off. Just have to keep experimenting. Appreciate your answers guys!
