ParticipantIn week 5 of this program and I am a little confused regarding the rep range. It’s very wide like 5-15 reps, 8-20 reps. It’s a big range.
Week 1-4 was 6-8 reps, that was ok but now the rep range is too large, how to perform it?Thank you

ParticipantSo here you see 2 sets of 5-12. Kindly explain in respect to this particular exercise, it will be easy to understand. Do you mean that I perform first set at 5 reps and the next set as per the fatigue level by dropping 15-30% of weight. Since RIR is 0, I need to take all sets to failure, right?

InactiveThe reps at the top of the screen give an indication of what the rep range will be, but doesn’t mean each set is 5-12 reps.
Under set 1, if you deleted the ‘8’ it’ll show you what the rep ranges is for that 1st set (probably 5-8). Then under set 2, if you deleted the ‘6’ it’ll show you the rep ranges for the 2nd set (probably 8-12). You’d adjust your weight accordingly then.
You should have an idea from the 1st set, how much to drop the weight by, to get into the correct rep range for the 2nd set.
Hope that makes sense
