I’m curious about how do you approach to a “refeed/cheat meal” during prep?
Given that the refeed meal is not tracked calories.
Also, what would be it’s benefits?
Seen couple of athletes actually getting lower weight next morning so I’m questioning how’s that possible.
Refeed is different from a cheat. Cheat is eat anything you want for a meal or a day. A refeed is a carefully calibrated increase in calories-mostly carbs-designed to restore glycogen stores. Usually lasts just one day. My coach and I used refeeds with great success in my last prep. Every 4th day was a refeed day. On refeed days I got 300 calories more- all carbs. We did this for about the last 6 weeks of my prep. By show day I was peeled. Before prejudging I was so vascular that i looked like a zebra
