    I’ve been wrestling with this debate. Is it better to weigh food (for example protein sources) raw or cooked? Can you achieve your desired results with consistency no matter how you track as long as you are making the appropriate adjustments throughout your regiment? I understand the weight difference. My question mainly revolves around the question of efficiency.

    You pretty much answered your own question. As long as your cooking method is 100% consistent, then either way is fine. If after is more efficient, then do it then. Most of the time during prep I just did it before, for accuracy purposes
