I have been on the cannonball program and so far I am really enjoying the training as well as the definition added to my delts.
How should I approach the training sessions when cutting ? I am not competing, I am only cutting down on weight as I do every year for summer.
Obviously I am not able to move the same weight when cutting calories. But every year I make the same mistake of cutting down too hard loosing a significant amount of muscle tissue with fat. This year, with the purchase of this app membership, I really want to avoid it.
As an example for your answer, please refer to my current regimen – I am on week 7 of the cannonball program and my weight PRs are not improving as I am eating less.
I feel the need to add the fact that mentality plays a huge role. If you go into every cut expecting to not only stop making progress but in fact lose strength, I truly believe you likely will. But if you do the opposite and constantly hype yourself up and not set low-bar expectations this won’t be AS much of an issue
