    Hey Joe, just wanted to know you thoughts and insight about doing deadlifts in the beginning of workout as a main back exercise. Do you think it’s beneficial and a good choice or not? To give you more context, my goal is to build back thickness right know and looking for best exercises to do it.

    I personally love starting my back days with deadlifts. I go a BIT lighter and finish with a good squeezable shrug on top to really get everything top to bottom. As far as back thicknesses…..the best move I’ve found is just a good old fashioned wide grip pull up. Not to be substituted with lat pulldowns. Once I committed to really upping my pull up game I saw considerable increase in back thickness which was a very pleasant surprise. I know I’m not joe…but just my 2 cents…haha
