Memberi know deload weeks are a lot less volume in the gym and youre supposed to have numerous rest days. but what about liss cardio? is that considered metabolically taxing, and therefore shouldnt be done?

What Justin said. Search and watch that exact video “recovery phase”, I even have a template you can click “show” right below the video and it gives you a split telling you how many off days, what to do for cardio, etc. If you just search “recovery” as well, you’ll find some options for splits, and a couple other videos digging into different strategies

so i did watch the videos and it discussed ss cardio as going for walks and such. i guess I’m wondering about ss cardio on a stationary bike or treadmill. not getting the hr too high though. between 110 and 120.but i will look for the template, though i searched recovery phase and watched the video on it, and am using the deload phase cycle from the 6 week trainer now and did not see a template discussing ss cardio

I wouldn’t overthink it. If you’re using heart rate, the ranges you suggest are good. I like an even more simple gage, keep an intensity that you could still hold a conversation while doing it.February 26, 2020 at 11:46 am #18446Eric LaPorta
