I apologize for this question but here goes:
Is there any major downside (or reason not to) to modifying the cannonball delt program’s working set volume?
Specifically, rather than the frequent 3×6-8 per exercise, I would do 1×6-8 hard set and a back off 1×8-12 but respecting the RIR as prescribed in the program?
Reasons: As a busy dad I can get in and out faster, I stay more focused and motivated, and I work harder. Been at this for 20 years so I “know thyself” well.
