Just a observation/query re the diet tracker in that it seems to be hyper-reactive to weight change and recommends caloric change excessively.
Ie:
– My initial weight was 81.0kg with the aim to add size.
– The 2nd time I weighed in I was still 81.0kg and the app suggested my rate of weight gain was too slow and recommended adding calories. I declined.
– The 3rd time I weighed in I was 81.9kg and the app suggested my rate of gain was too fast and to reduce calories. I declined.
– The 4th time I weighed in I was 81.9kg and the app suggested my rate of gain was too slow and
recommended I increase calories. I declined.
Basically it suggested I alter caloric intake 3 times in as many weigh-ins over a total of about 5 days.
Surely it would make sense to only make adjustments at most on a weekly basis to allow for the natural fluctuations in day to day weight from water retention etc? Just seems like the way it’s set up will have people chasing their tail on caloric intake…
