Hey Joe. I have been doing dips for a few months now. Set one 5-8 and set two 8-12 reps. I don’t have any chains yet so I’ve been using a band. I’m sure I have the band setup correctly (because of you). The issue I think I’m having is progressing. The way I’ve been progressing is by adding actual weight (ex. 10lb plate) to the belt around my waist. To jump to a heavier band is too much. So the setup I’m using is a band that gets tighter at the top of the dip and additional weight (plates). Every week I try to either get an extra rep or go up a little in weight. I’m not sure if this is the best way to progress while using a band. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks
