Hey, I have some pain sometimes on my shoulder/biceb tendon when doing flys. I think the reason is because there is way more pressure on the bicebs during flys than presses. Could it be more wise to do kind of press/fly hybrid where your arms are very bent but not all the way stacked or is it worthless since the weight will be heavier that way.
Yeah I figured, Its usually just slight discomfort, propably something wrong with my execution because it varies. I love dumbbel flys because its one of the only exercises I feel super good connection to my chest and I get the greatest pumps. I actually do them on the floor too because that is way easier on my shoulders. I might have to lighten the load and try better form.
Yes Joe that is exactly my experience, I tried keeping my arms little bit more bent today when doing flys and it sure did help, no pain no discomfort and I felt safer and better stretch in my chest. Thanks for the confirmation.
