    Hi HC team,

First of all, I would like to thank you for the entire experience of the app. Secondly, I highly recommend the Terrence Olympia Prep 2021 program (as it is the first program I am running) and so far it has done exactly what the description says: Kick my a**! As a 30-year old male, in shape , playing actively sports, I find it extremely useful to be able to train to failure with minimising the unnecessary injuries & the program I feel has done exactly that. It took me some time to understand the philosophy and the principles behind the structure and the activation on each exercise but all the content is there and I feel that no one has any excuse to not do it properly. So big thank you !

On to my question, I am now in the 8th week of the program, and yes it has exhausted me. I play sports as said earlier and in order to stick to the training program my recovery is not optimal but I managed somehow to make it to the final weeks of block 2. I watched the block 3 video and I realized that I probably do not need to run the last weeks of the program ( as I am not prepping for a contest or anything like that).

As my basketball trainings are getting more intense, I was wondering which of the below scenarios I should follow to change my program:
    1) continue the block 3 of the program for a week or two as *recovery* / stepping a bit back – phase and then jump in fresh into a new program.
    2) stop the block 2 after week 8 and start the new program fresh as usually the programs have 2-3 week intro phase before they get intense.
    3) stop the block 2 after week 8 and start a week of the recovery program you have specifically for recovery periods before getting into the new program. ( I do not think I am training THAT hard to require a full recovery phase period but still might beneficial since the current program has been intense).

I apologise for the long message but I wanted to express my gratitude.

    Thank you in advance.

    Thanks Bryce. Appreciate the response.
