ParticipantShit the bed and cut or power on?
Hi Joe, wasnt sure if this was for the forum or would i be best sending it to you directly. So i am trying to bulk up for the “first time” with proper logging and measuring etc. I started this after getting down to the leanest bf % i have ever been. The pictures are 11 weeks apart, although i reversed diet from 1400-2200 kcals over 4 weeks before starting the bulk. My intention was to go around 10/12 weeks and then do a 2 week 1000kcal mini cut although i feel like my bf% may require me to do it sooner. I guess the question is it better to just power on for another 5 weeks with the bulk as planned or is it better to get the bf back in check and go again perhaps more gradually. Thanks in advance mate.

ParticipantThanks mate, I’m progressing in all exercises some it’s every session others it’s every 2nd or 3rd. Kcals are at 2650 they were at 2850 at work (i work away from home on a mine site) as i am pretty active at work (16-20k+ steps a day) vs (around 10-12k a day at home)
My current split is lower, push, off, lower pull, shoulders/arms/calves as I’m trying to bring up the legs (who doesn’t want big wheels, right?) In my lower sessions I’m progressing in all exercises steadily a part from the front squat(HE) over the last 5 sessions (2x week) I’ve been stuck at the same weight for my top set although my reps have progressed from 4 to 6. Is there anything else I can do to help bring thisĀ along or is it just one of those things you grind out over time? I’ve been focusing a lot on form and pausing at the bottom where I’m weakest, even more so on my back off set. Thanks again
