Front squat/safety bar

    I know that Safety bar squats really hit the quads and can’t do as much weight as back squat. Last leg workout maybe I was tired so I switched in the pendulum squat instead. I really like the pendulum as can get even better depth and safer on my back, but a lot less weight. Is it ok to do pendulum vs safety bar squats?

    Bryce thanks for the in depth response! I’ll probably add on the pendulum squat as an accessory sometimes after regular squat
