Like Eugene teo that said you can start with 30-40% below maintenance and after few time get the calories a bit up till 10-20%
He said that when you start the cutting phase you have a lot of fat and you dont risk much of muscle lose so you can do more aggressive cut at first but afterwards when you do lose some fat, you add calories so you don’t risk muscle lose.
On the other hand, i read an ebook of some guy named “danijel kryptonian” that wrote that you shouldn’t go below 20-25% of you maintenance because of metabolic adaptation.
I’m so confused. What is your approach with cutting phase and what is your opinion on the dilemma between this two gentlemen.?
