I’ve been running the PPL2.0 and I saw the lower B routine calls for a 45 degree hip extension.
My gym doesn’t have a 45 degree back extension but it does have this GHD machine (picture attached). I was wondering if this would be a good substitute for the hip extension and if so, what would be the correct movement on this machine? I’ve seen it used in a multitude of ways depending on the focus muscle (hip extension vs glute ham raise vs back extension).
There’s also seated and lying leg curl machines available at my gym as another option but I’m already doing lying leg curls on lower A day, so I thought it would probably be best to avoid repeating exercises. Would be great to hear your thoughts on the best substitute
