The last few weeks I don’t know why but glucose keeps popping up everywhere on the interwebs as a post workout supplement. As sweet as it sounds ๐ would glucose with a protein shake be that more beneficial for recovery/shuttling protein to the muscles faster than just consuming protein alone?
I’ve done some light reading this morning and will dive into it more later but wanted to see what your thoughts/opinions are on glucose. I’d personally give it a go for a month and see if there is any positive impact on recovery but before I do anything I want to read up more on post recovery with glucose.
Lastly, if it is worth a trial period would syrup/gels or pill form be a better option? I imagine they are similar but also will have to do that research as well.
