Hey coaches! I just wanted to hear your thoughts on the design and effectiveness of the Nautilus Glute Drive machine.
One specific question that I have is the machine’s angled footplate. Why is it angled? 🤔
As I’ve learned from you, Joe, what makes an exercise suitable is Bracing/stability, alignment, and profile. I think I’m missing one. I’ll have to go back and get a refresher, lol.
But from that point of view, the Glute Drive is stable, profile (trains the glutes in its shortened position) which can complement exercises that train the glutes in its lengthened position, and alignment is dependent on how one sets up… I think.
I definitely love what I’ve learned from you guys and helping me think critically.
