InactiveWhat are your thoughts on the Gluteator and have you had the opportunity to try it? I’ve heard arguments that external rotation + abduction with hip extension makes less glute max involvement. Any studies I have found support that glute max is a secondary hip rotator and abductor, although, less advantaged in certain positions where glute med would mostly be the primary. The path of motion, body position, look great for an option to load more heavily abduction, hip extension, and rotation at the same time without having to compound movements or positions that require more stabilization. I’m thinking pure hypertrophy. I recognize most need to work stability as well. Thoughts? Especially, for bikini gals not wanting to build larger hamstrings or quads.

InactiveThanks for your thoughts. It’s exactly what I suspected and your programming sequence is pretty much what I was thinking. Not sure why my question showed up anonymous 🤷♀️! Love the content on here Joe and love that you put so much effort into answering questions and giving applicable larger picture answers with respect to programming.
Cheers,
Gina Bergman
