I’m not sure if you have answered this type of question yet, but would it be ideal to to switch goal focus during a program? I have currently been doing the ARMageddon program and have just completed Week 2. My focus right now has been to gain muscle so I have eating in a calorie surplus. However, in the next 2 months I will be taking a trip to the beach and would like to lean out (if need be) before that time. I know reducing the calories could potentially affect my overall energy levels in the gym, so I didn’t know if it was ideal to switch in the middle (especially when the program starts getting butal).
