Hey coaches,
I would really like to hit my upper body at higher frequencies because I like the whole lower per session volume, but higher frequency approach it makes it seem like I’m really limiting my junk volume.
That being said, how viable would a split like this be?
[side/rear delts sprinkled in upper-body days]
Day 1: AM: Chest/tris PM: Back/bis (or I can just have one upper-body session in the AM, it’s just easier to split it into two since both chest and back are tiring)
Day 2: Lower
Day 3: AM: Chest/tris PM: Back/bis (or just one upper-body session in the AM)
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: AM: Back/bis PM: Chest/tris (or just one upper-body session in the AM)
Day 6: Lower
Day 7: AM: Back/bis PM: Chest/tris (or just one upper-body session in the AM)
Day 8: Rest
I could either do the AM/PM split on upper body days just to split some of the volume up into two sessions (my college gym is walking distance away), or just condense it into one upper body session.
Anyways, what are your guys thoughts on a split like this. Thanks!
