    Hi Joe,
I’m subcribed for one week and loving the content.

I have about 10 years of Training experience. I’m 1,81m tall (5’11 ish I think) and have a very long torso in comparison to my short legs. Therefore I tend to dump a ton of tension into my Erectors instead of glutes/hamstrings on any hip hinge so my low back gives out long before the muscles I’m trying to hit. I tried to find variations throughout the years to progress on safely but after some time my back is always on the verge of getting hurt or actually gets hurt.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make hip hinges work for long torso folks?

    Thank you in advance

    Thanks for the reply

now that you mention it I haven’t done leg presses with appropriate intensity for quite a while now mainly because it got my glutes really sore instead of my quads so I ditched them for hack squats.

So I guess it’s time to revisit Leg Presses 🙂
