    Hey everyone,

I’ve been here for about a month with a goal of fat loss.

I’m 250lbs,6’3 and about 40% bf on my bod pod

This is my highest body fat ever and my goal is still to lose about a pound a week.

The month definitely didn’t go my way since I didn’t clear out all the junk out of my diet

I’m pretty this is a low level question for you guys but I figured I’d reach out for help.

How do you guys stay full all day or at least avoid ruining your diet?

    What i’m doing so far.

    Eating 1g/lb of protein.

Eating 2 servings of veggies daily

My reccommendation is choosing low calorie high volume foods, priortising carbs with a lot of fiber ( I avoid rice on a fat loss phase as it has very litle volume and digest very fast), drinking plenty of water ( glass lf water before a meal will fill out your stomach), whatever you do, do not drink your calories on a fat loss phase if you are hungry. Give diet drinks a try. Search the web for some low kcal recepies. In the end you will be hungry sometimes whatever you do so it will come down to how hard you want it. Find your WHY man, that helped me most with adherence to the diet. Hope my experience will help you.

Thanks Luka, I definitely need to slow down on the brown rice along with the sugary stuff

The only calories I really drink is my whey protein in the morning..

I’m pretty diligent about not drinking any soda or other drinks with calories even if I relapse every few weeks

I’ve been looking for recipes al day and will try them soon as well.

Thanks for reminding about finding my why, I postponed doing the exercise.

Have a great day and thank you so much

    Hey there!
My two cents: sparkling water helps me a lot.
Also the notion I remind myself sometimes: its a diet, its not supposed to be fun. And I will be hungry. It’s supposed to be.
I know its not fun/not much help but sometimes it helps to remember it.
Also -and I can stress this enough- find a support system. I always relay on my wife when Im dieting and its hard (thats a nice way of saying that I bitch about being hungry to her). It makes a lot of difference. Hell, if nothing else, post here and let us/the community encourage you through it.

Thanks Bryce, I appreciate your advice.

I’ll to dial in my training as well since I’m starting a new program this week.

Also, I’ve had issue with tracking recently so I’ll get back on it.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll buy some sparkling water as well.

I don’t expect the diet to be fun, it’s just difficult to stick my stated goals these days.

I’ll be sure to post here as well

    Have a great day

Sir, the biggest diet hack for me is so INSTANTLY kick pasta and rice out and swap potatos in.

Try it, it will be a major diet change for you, as the volume is increased significantly.

Boil potatoe for 45 minutes, mash them afterwards with your fork, mix in veggies/chicken and consume.

    Works wonders, it seriously does
