So basically when I put on a belt to lift I feel like I’m cheating… I only use it when doing RDLs Squats Deadlifts and similar compounds. I was wondering how this would affect my progress.
My thinking on it is that since, in general, the belt helps me lift heavier weight and generate more reps creating more mechanical tension which is good on squats. But on an exercise where I’m trying to build the erectors as well I don’t know whether I should do with or without a belt.
