How to delete a food entry item.

Can someone please elaborate how I am to delete a food entry?
Somehow, I have added an excessive amount of the same thing throwing my numbers off.
I have tried to press and hold meal, press and hold the food item, pressed the three dots, even clicked the refresh at the top left, and the nutrition at top right.
I have lost lol.

Swipe left and you’ll see delete
