Hello, not sure if this is ok to ask, but I do have some questions concerning training while on HRT. It has been 3 months since I started HRT, due low T over an extended period of time. I have noticed that my strength, stamina and recovery have all increased.
Should I be adjusting my training, aside from standard progressive overload and volume considerations?
Additionally, I have noticed a decrease in weight over the past few months. I have been told that I may see an increase in my metabolic rate. I have been gradually increasing calories on training days and non training days, but still loosing weight. Should I keep tracking and increasing accordingly? Is there anything I am missing?
I’m interested in Joe’s take but I have been on TRT for the past three years and it has been great. I have added a lot of muscle, significantly decreased my body fat percentage and my quality of life has improved. I track my macros and train following Joe’s workouts. At nearly 43, I’m in the best shape of my life and setting PRs on lifts almost monthly. I just wish I had found Joe years ago. Good luck and get those gains.
