Is it possible to do any of these programs while also training for a long distance race? (Half marathon or more).
This is a relatively new concept to the fitness world and I’m very intrigued by it. I like the concept of putting on muscle and being able to run far distances. I did watch Joe’s video on cardio but this goes to a different level I’m not sure it’s possible.
I’m totally ok with being a recreational athlete in both and not reaching my full potential if i just focused on one. I’m in the first week of the anti flamingo program and currently running 5km about 3 times a week.
I do want to recomp as well, like put on a significantly noticable amount of muscle. Is anti flamingo ok to do? Is there a better program in the app for my goals? I should mention that I’m a natural female (5’8, 150lbs) as well so I’m not too sure if this is too much to take on.
