    Hi Joe,

In your opinion what’s the optimal hydration levels?
    About to begin a cut, 6’5”, 92.15kg, BF 12.9%
Understand holding water is a big factor but what do you suggest? How many Litres a day should I be aiming for?

    Many thanks

What exactly do you mean by ‘big factor’? Like a negative thing or something?

The general recommendation for fluid intake a day was around 2 liters if I remember correctly. Now keep in mind that that is just a ballpark number and how much water YOU should aim to drink should always be based on YOUR individual needs.

There are actually no very well established guidelines for EXACT amounts. The most agreed upon number seems to be 1 ounce of water per 1 lean pound body mass. So by your stats, around 180(ish) ounces of water per day (little under a 1 1/2 gallons). Sorry, you’ll have to liter convert. That is a good a place as any to start. From there, just see where you feel, and perform best. (Generally it may be slightly higher with hard training, lower on off days).
