    Anyone heard of not paring carbs with protein? they say carbs are digested in an alkaline environment while proteins are digested in an acidic environment and if you eat these foods in combination, they will “cancel each other out” and not be digested!!

    I tried one week of eating only carbs post workout for 2 meals like quinoa and rice and then another 2 meals with protein only, sometimes some fat and veggies! It felt easier on my stomach and less bloating but my question is, would it affect muscle growth if delaying the protein intake for last 2 meals of the day? Note that I train mid day and take a PW protein shake!
