    Joe,

Asking this question for both myself and probably a lot of other gym goers who are finding themselves restricted to a 1 hour window to workout due to time constraints at most gyms now:

What in your opinion is the best way to improve “efficiency” during workouts? I feel when I try to take proper rest in between working sets, and warm up properly on the higher output movements, I end up eating up that hour with “meat and potato” movements and don’t incorporate as much high volume/density work at the end. I know exercise selection is paramount for efficiency, but do you have any other tips/tactics you would recommend? Thank you!!!

Ok right on, that makes total sense. I’ve seen you implement some of those types of techniques in previous videos, I’ve been so wrapped up in the hypertrophy coach university videos I need to take a look at some of your current workouts. Do you typically use those techniques mostly on your back off sets, or on all working sets?

I’ve done both. But typically just do it off of the last working set (back off set)
